Privacy Policy

Who this covers
This policy explains how ZG Sales Group ("ZG," "we," "us") handles personal information collected through this website. ZG is based in Santa Rosa, California. Questions about privacy can be sent to hello@zgsalesgroup.com — please write "Privacy" in the subject line.
What we collect
- Information you give us: name, email address, phone number, and any message you type when you submit the careers or contact form.
- Technical information: standard server and hosting logs generated when any browser requests a page (such as IP address, browser type, and time of request), used for security and reliability.
- Local storage: a small amount of strictly-necessary browser storage that remembers your privacy settings and whether the site's opening animation has already played in this browser session.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and we do not request sensitive personal information (such as government ID numbers, health, or financial account details) through this website.
Why we use it
- To reply to inquiries and to communicate about job applications and next steps.
- To keep normal business records of those communications.
- To keep the website secure, available, and working correctly.
If you consent on the form, we may contact you by phone, text, or email about your application. You can opt out of that contact at any time by replying or writing to us.
Sale and sharing of personal information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because of that, we do not operate a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" sale opt-out flow. If that ever changes, we will update this policy, add the required opt-out mechanism, and honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as an opt-out request. Where a GPC signal is present today, we treat it as an instruction to keep all optional categories switched off.
Cookies and tracking
This website currently uses only strictly-necessary browser storage. There are no advertising pixels and no third-party behavioral tracking on the site. Optional analytics and advertising categories are switched off by default, and nothing in an optional category loads unless you enable it. You can review or change these choices at any time:
Service providers
We use third-party providers to host this website and to store form submissions so our team can respond. These providers process information on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing.
Retention
We keep information you submit only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected and for our normal record-keeping, then delete it. You may ask us to delete it sooner.
California privacy rights
Where the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) applies to ZG, California residents may request to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion, and limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights. To make a request, email hello@zgsalesgroup.com with "Privacy request" in the subject line. We may need to verify your identity — for example, by confirming details you previously submitted — before responding. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission.
This policy describes our practices in plain English. It is not legal advice, and nothing here claims certification or approval by any regulator.
Charitable solicitation note
ZG's California charitable solicitation activity is conducted subject to applicable registration and campaign filing requirements administered by the California Attorney General's Registry of Charities and Fundraisers. Registration with the Registry does not constitute or imply endorsement, approval, or recommendation by the State of California or the Attorney General.
Changes
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version.
