The Work

Donor acquisition campaigns run in person — and the team that runs them. These are our own photographs, not stock imagery.

How A Campaign Runs

The same standard every day, whichever nonprofit campaign the team is representing.

01

Brief

We learn the nonprofit's mission, programs, and rules before anyone speaks to the public.

02

Train

Representatives practice the conversation and the questions people actually ask.

03

Run

Teams run the campaign in person, working to the standards set in training.

04

Report

Campaign activity and feedback from the ground go back to the partner.

Our standards

How We Work

Every conversation represents two reputations: the organization behind the campaign and the location hosting the team. These are the standards we train to and coach against.

Structured training, ongoing coaching

Representatives learn the campaign and the conduct standard in the office before they work a site, and continue to receive coaching from ZG leadership.

Professional conduct in public

Conversations happen only with people who choose to engage. No following, no blocking walkways, no pressure — courteous communication with the public and with location staff.

Accurate campaign representation

Representatives state who they are and which organization the campaign supports, and answer questions honestly using approved campaign information.

Respect for the host location

Clean, compact setups within the agreed footprint, entrances and walkways kept clear, and the space left as it was found.

Accountability and oversight

Teams stay in contact with ZG leadership during campaigns, and anything raised by a location is addressed directly with the representative and their leader.

Campaign and location requirements

Dates, hours, footprint, team size, and site-specific rules are coordinated with the location in advance, and representatives are expected to follow them.
